We are in the month of June. It is the time for Ladakh. When Ladakh fever slowly picks up. We have been to this lovely land twice and we are not satiated. Ladakh actually grows on you.
First time we were there was five years back. We were apprehensive then doing the road trip from Manali to Leh. We had no clue about what the risks were. We boldly went ahead with our plans and we had a jolly good time. The weather was fantastic. Ladakh was not crowded and Pangaong Tso was still an unknown lake!
We were there again last year. Mainly for a trek in Markha valley. We arrived few days earlier and gave us a chance to visit places we had not done earlier. Tso Kar, the white lake was astonishingly beautiful. We were the only three people around! Then the drive to Siachen base camp was simply unforgettable. This time we drove from Srinagar which had its own charm.
iPhone was not there when we went in 2010. Last year, we had iPhone 5. Brinda clicked some lovely Ladakh landscape photos in iPhone. These are panorama shots. Here are some of them. Click on them to see in larger size.
