Morning skies in Lalbagh, Bengaluru

Written by Poorna & Brinda

The gardens of Lalbagh in Bengaluru never ceases to surprise us. It had been sometime since we visited this lovely green island amidst chaotic Bengaluru.

We went for a morning walk/run today. The day was unusually overcast for this time of the year. There was a chill in the air. It was windy too.

We normally take a path which runs along the perimeter wall of the garden. As we came closer to the lake, there was slight mist over the lake and the sun was struggling to come out of the clouds. The lighting looked good and Brinda took a pan shot in her iPhone 6. Please click on the pictures to see them in original size.

Our journey continued and when we came near the hillock in the garden, Brinda clicked another. This time the Kempegowda tower with a rocky foreground and cloudy sky looked lovely. To add a bit of contrast, there were few folks doing Yoga on top of the hill.

It was a lovely morning well spent which ended with a hot cuppa in our regular haunt – South Thindies!

Poorna & Brinda

We are Brinda and Poorna from Bengaluru, the “Silicon city” or “Garden city” of India.

We travel together. We caught the travel bug 20 years back. On our honey moon, we traveled over the sea, in the train, by bus and in an aircraft! Our adventures probably started in that year. It continues, ever since.
