Travel Tips
a) Both Shoolagiri and Krishnagiri provides options for trekking. The hills in Shoolagiri offers a nice trek though there is no formal trails and has to be very careful as rocks may be slippery. The Krishnagiri Fort on top of Syed Basha hill is also a nice trek. Unfortunately, the steps or trail not well maintained. The summit of the both the hills offers a panoramic view of the country side. These climbs are likely to take at least two hours one way. One has to plan accordingly.
b) Both the places are hot during day time. Please carry good hat to cover and drinking water.
c) Drive safe on the highway. This highway is so good, it tempts you to overspeed. Don’t do that.
